The Amp-fibian adaptor easily, safely and legally connects your van to any domestic 10 Amp power supply. It is a portable adaptor so you can take it anywhere. The Amp-fibian uses a 10 amp domestic circuit breaker and a RCD (Residual Circuit Device) combination. Using the 10 amp RCD the Amp-fibian allows a safe amount of power to be drawn through it, tripping off when it becomes overloaded. This means you can safely run your lights, fridge, toaster etc... and is you overload the supply circuit the Amp-fibian will cut power to the van, saving any damage to the house circuit. You can then unplug unnecessary items and flick the Amp-fibian back on and start again. Over time you will learn which combination of appliances can be used at the same time. Amp-fibian is the only Australian standards approved 15 amp to 10 amp adaptor on the market. It has the Australian compliance tick of approval with its own approval number.
